Description

Job Purpose
Line and Base Maintenance on ERJ 135/145
• To carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Embraer EMB135/145
series aircraft as permitted by the Company authorization;
• Certifying Engineer on Embraer 135/145 series aircraft Category “A” and “C”
(turbine) License; Cat “X” Electrical, instrument & Autopilot and “R” Radio
License on Embraer 135/145 or EASA Part 66 B1 or B2 or B1 and B2 Aircraft
Maintenance License;
• Must be willing to work outside Kenya on rotation.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensure that work is carried out to the required specification and standards;
• Ensure that regulatory and safety requirements are met;
• Supervision of staff as required;
• Other duties as directed by the Base Maintenance Manager and/or Line
Maintenance Manager. 

Minimum Qualification
ICAO II License
▪ KCAA, Category “A” and “C” or Category “X”, Radio, Electrical, Autopilot and
Radar
▪ Initial and recurrent type-training on Embaer135/145 series aircraft.
▪ Must have three (3) years working experience in relation to ERJ135/145 return
to service, Line and Base Maintenance.
▪ Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the aviation industry.
▪ Human Factors Training
▪ EWIS Training.
▪ Have personal tools
▪ Ability to work independently
▪ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with a high
degree of attention to detail.
▪ A strong work ethic, reliable, self-motivated with a positive attitude, and very
customer service oriented
▪ Ability to read, write, speak and understand English


EASA Part 66
▪ B1 or B2 or B1 and B2 with ERJ135/145 type rating.
▪ Initial and recurrent type-training on Embaer135/145 series aircraft.
▪ Must have three (3) years working experience in relation to ERJ135/145 return

▪ Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the aviation industry.
